In September 2012, Melette Meloy founded Gateway to Victory in response to a divine calling. With a strong background in education and experience as a business owner, she has successfully led and grown the school into the impactful organization it is today. Residing in Dallas, GA, Melette continues to guide Gateway with vision and dedication, ensuring it fulfills its mission of serving and uplifting the children of Kenya.
Eric Ngeno
Founder & Deputy Director
Eric is one of the original founders of Gateway and has been instrumental in shaping the school since its inception. As a dedicated and talented board member, he leads the parents, ensuring they fully understand and embrace the goals and mission of Gateway. His leadership and vision continue to drive the organization's success, making a significant impact on the community. Residing in Kericho, Kenya, Eric remains a steadfast leader, committed to the growth and development of Gateway and the children it serves.
Gamaliel "Gamma" Bii
General Manager
Gamma is a quietly effective leader who often works behind the scenes to ensure everything at Gateway to Victory runs smoothly. His guidance and leadership are invaluable to the team, reflecting his deep understanding of the mission and his unwavering commitment to the children. A truly Godly man, he embodies the spirit of Gateway, always keeping the focus on the well-being and growth of the children. Residing in Kericho, Kenya, Gamma continues to be a cornerstone of the organization, providing the steady support needed to fulfill its mission.
David Mitei
Head Teacher
Mr. David Mitei is a dedicated and hardworking professional, certified as a Primary 1 Teacher by the Kenyan Government, and a qualified invigilator for the Kenya National Examinations Council. In addition to his teaching credentials, he is also trained in Business Management, bringing a well-rounded skill set to his role.
Beyond his responsibilities as a disciplinarian, Mr. Mitei is a mentor who is deeply committed to providing all students with equal opportunities to develop their talents. He is unwavering in his dedication to the children of Gateway, constantly preparing and devoting his life to their betterment. With a true servant's heart and strong leadership qualities, Mr. Mitei is a powerful force for positive change in the lives of the students he serves. He resides in Kericho, Kenya, where his impact is deeply felt within the community.
Robert Finn
Board Member & Deputy Director
​Robert is a dedicated board member who has made numerous trips to Kenya to support the children of Gateway. His deep commitment to the mission shines through in his enduring relationship with his sponsored child, Caleb, whom he has supported for many years. Currently residing in Ogden, UT, Robert remains actively involved in Gateway's efforts, offering both strategic guidance and hands-on support. Chris Pavoloski
Board Member
As one of the founding pastors of Gateway to Victory, Chris has been deeply involved since the organization's inception, visiting Kenya many times to support its mission. Currently residing in Dallas, GA, he continues to be a vital part of the Gateway community. Lawrence Kirui
Chaplain
An experienced pastor, Lawrence, faithfully shepherds the children at Gateway, guiding them in the ways of Christ. In addition to his role with the children, he also serves as the pastor of Gateway Church, providing spiritual leadership to the broader community. His commitment to the faith is exemplified in moments like baptizing believers in the local river, a powerful symbol of his dedication to nurturing the spiritual growth of those he serves.
