Gateway is a faith-driven organization committed to following God’s will by serving and uplifting children. Our mission is to transform lives in Kenya, where countless children face the harsh realities of poverty. Many of these children struggle daily, often subsisting on little more than black tea to stave off hunger. When basic needs go unmet, education becomes an unattainable dream, and the hope for a better future fades.

At Gateway, we are determined to break this cycle of poverty and despair. We believe that by nourishing a child's body, mind, and spirit, we can lay the foundation for a brighter future. Our holistic approach ensures that children have access to the essentials they need to thrive—nutritious meals, quality education, and emotional and spiritual support.

Students at Gateway are provided with two meals and a snack each day, alongside clothing, personal care items, and, most importantly, the love and care they deserve. Our bilingual education program, offering instruction in both English and Swahili, covers core subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social skills. We also equip our students with technological skills through access to computers. Spiritual growth is nurtured by our chaplain, who guides the children in learning and living according to the Word of God.

We are dedicated to developing the next generation of strong, educated Christian leaders in Kenya—individuals who will rise to the top of society and effect meaningful change. By integrating both African and American cultural elements, Gateway offers a unique educational experience that prepares our students to navigate and influence a diverse world.
