Gateway to Victory

Gateway to Victory Learning Center is mourning the sudden loss of our dear friend and cherished family member, Ron Frost. 

Ron served Gateway to Victory with a quiet strength, deep wisdom, and a humble heart for the orphaned children of Kericho, Kenya.  Working faithfully behind the scenes, he gave countless hours of his time to help the organization serve the children well- organizing clothing and food drives, helping lead service trips, and supporting Gateway's student sponsorship program and fundraising efforts.

Drawing on his experience as the COO of a large company, Ron used his knowledge and leadership to create opportunities for Gateway’s children to succeed, while also caring for them with the love and steadiness of a father. He worked tirelessly each day for this cause and often said he truly enjoyed doing it. His heart of service, humility, and compassion reflected his faith, and his constant reminder of why the work mattered—because of the kids—will stay with us always. 

Ron was a devoted husband to Becky and a proud father to his two sons, Ryan and Connor.  He was an inspiring leader and a treasured friend. His leadership and kind spirit impacted so many lives and he is already missed by so many both in the United States and in Kenya.

At the time of his death, his passion projects were helping his son Ryan complete his Weber State University Capstone Project (a Gateway to Victory Fundraiser) and working to make sure that every single student at Gateway to Victory has the gift of sponsorship.   If you would like to contribute in Ron's memory, please use the link below.
